BetaTherm Thermistor Series IV provides a higher Dissipation Constant (3.0mW/癈) allowing design engineers greater flexibility on sensor design projects. The higher D.C. is achieved using 28 AWG tin plated copper lead wires and also larger chip thermistor elements. BetaCURVE Thermistor Series III are similar in construction to Series I except for the use of larger(30 AWG) copper leads. This allows the Dissipation Constant (D.C.) to be raised from 0.75mW/癈to 2.0mW/癈. Larger leads also facilitate easier handling during assembly operations. The Thermal Time Constant is raised to 14 seconds in air. Custom resistance values and tolerances are available upon request. |
